Suitability:
Sealing:

Teakwood Sandstone pavers and tiles can be sealed with an invisible penetrating sealer to assist in the ongoing maintenance of the sandstone paving.

An invisible penetrating sealer can be applied prior to grouting which will facilitate easy clean up after application of the grout for all do it yourselfers.

When laid around a salt-chlorinated pool, the Teak Sandstone must be sealed to prolong the life of the stone and prevent staining. Resealing should be done every 6 months

Cleaning:

Do not use Hydrochloric acid for clean up as this can cause minerals present in the stone to react.

Maintenance:

Just sweep when needed. Teakwood Sandstone responds well to high pressure cleaning. A solution of mild detergent and water, can be applied prior to pressure cleaning. Teakwood Sandstone pavers and tiles should be resealed every 12 months or follow the sealer manufacturers guidelines. When used as pool coping tiles Teakwood Sandstone should be resealed every 6 months.
